Hey everybody,
here is the recap of the first day SEO CAMPIXX 2009 in Berlin (and the update for the total recap too). The event is really crowded and there seem to be nearly 350 SEO´s here. The event should have two main parts: a organized sessions part and a barcamp part. But the result for the barcamp part is, like i wrote this afternoon, very poor. Only three barcamp sessions where registered, so that it seems like everybody likes to attend the organized session with classy SEO speakers.
The sessions reach from very basic to good high level session and there is a lot f discussion in the sessions going on, so that most of the attendees seem to be happy with the event till now.
There are some issues with the organization like too less stations where so much people can get food and also the food quality is very poor. But i dont want to go to deep in that critizism because i am pretty sure there will be a lot of blog posts in these days about that. Also the hotel is nice but the service can improve a lot.
But lets start with the much more funny sides of this event. In the evening, after all the sessions, there was a kind of party going on. They had a funny but really crazy girl punk band which was announced as “the modern young crazy girl punk band”. They where funny but the music was very strange and most of the attendees think that it was a bit low level for such an event. But the bull riding event seems to attract much more attendees.

But to be honest in comparison with Inga he had no chance to win the challenge (Sorry Thomas, but this gorgeous girl is just so f…… hot and good at riding the bull, you never had a chance to win.)

So nun komme ich endlich dazu das überfällige UPDATE zur SEOCAMPIXX zu schreiben und nachdem die meisten Teilnehmer schon Ihre Posts geschrieben haben, möchte ich nun erst mal dem SEOnauten einen Riesendank aussprechen für die Organisation dieses coolen Events. Wer noch nie einen Event organisiert hat, kann sich kaum vorstellen wie viel Arbeit, Zeit und Energie in den letzten 9 Monaten der SEOnaut und all die heimlichen Helfer im Hintergrund geleistet und investiert haben um diesen Event zu einem Erfolg zu machen.
Auch wenn hier und da noch nicht alles rund gelaufen ist, was normal ist auf einer LIVE-Veranstaltung, so war der Event für fast alle Teilnehmer eine tolle Erfahrung. Es ist ein bißchen Schade das der Barcamp-Teil nicht richtig funktioniert hat, aber es war schon super schwer sich zwischen den ganzen guten Vorträgen, die fest geplant waren, zu entscheiden.
Tag 2 war gespickt mit erstklassigen Vorträgen und leider liefen einige der besten Vorträge parallel, so dass man nicht alle Top-Vorträge besuchen konnte. Man merkte den Teilnehmern zwar an, dass die Nacht davor im SEO-Style lang, intensiv und heftig war, aber was soll – SEOs party like rockstars ! 
Um die SEOCAMPIXX herum habe ich zusammen mit dem Axel, dem Autoschieber, auch noch Zeit gefunden zum Arbeiten, so dass neben Party und Work sehr wenig Zeit zum schlafen blieb. Aber dafür sind einige Projekte weitergekommen und ein kurzer Abstecher heute noch zu Zanox hat sich auch gelohnt. Dises Bilder sprechen glaube ich für sich:

Das klingt nach ner gelungenen Veranstaltung. Da wäre man auch gern dabei gewesen, aber die nächste kommt bestimmt. Oder?
Das weiss man nicht.
Der Veranstalter hat sich noch nicht entschieden ob er die nächstes Jahr wieder veranstaltet. Falls JA findet man hier rechtzeitig Infos dazu
